COACH EDUCATION SEMINAR SERIES
In the lead up to the 4th Annual Evolution of the Athlete Coach Education Conference, UQ Sport will be hosting a series of seminars offering teachers, industry professionals, coaches, students and athletes the opportunity to learn from experts in the fields of strength & conditioning; sports psychology; nutrition; and sports science.
SEMINAR ONE: PRE-SEASON PREPARATION

Want to get the best out of your athletes and ensure they are at the best level of fitness for the start of their competition? Hear from experts on effective pre-season training techniques; the importance of pre-season training; and principles of training. SEMINAR TWO: RECOVERY & FATIGUE

This seminar will delve into the psychological monitoring of recovery and the challenges and issues for coaches and sports scientists. Industry experts will provide valuable insight on this topic and provide practical strategies so you can recognise, monitor and deal with fatigue and recovery so your athletes maintain optimal performance.

SEMINAR THREE: PEAKING FOR A MAJOR COMPETITION

Our presenters will aim to provide insight on the important role psychological skills play in preparation for competition; strategies you can use to increase consistency in performance; various training adaptations that will increase performance; and the physical development of an athlete entering into a major competition phase.
